As being a huge baseball fan I had to pick up MLB 2k8 for my 360 imagining a similiar high quality baseball sim gaming experience that came along with the last two years of MLB the show. We brought the game home and couldnt wait to play it. We put the game in and went to start a franchise with my favorite team the New York Mets, only one problem. I havn't even played a game yet and I'm already convinced I need to trade the game in. This is pathetic, they didn't even get the rosters completely down during the offseason.

I make my team and go to play, I look through my e-mails and have trouble reading them with my small, 27 inch standard definition TV. I finally start to play the game. And I'll admit, I was impressed by the commentary starting the game which gave me hope for a turn-around. The first thing we notice when we start playing, is the players jersies are getting blown around by the wind, making it extremely un-realistic,.

We started to play and found the right analog stick extremely confusing for hitting and pitching, so I switch to classic mode. The problem is that I realized both ways every one can play games is stupid, the analog stick is too confusing and classic mode is for 2 year olds, I hit x to swing and thats about it.
